Magnum and New Age Media Brought Utopia to Cinema City

The “Utopia” spot, which announced the launch of the new Double Hazelnut and Double Cherry flavors, aired on the big screens of all 29 Cinema City locations across the country. Furthermore, in eight selected venues, the campaign was amplified through new digital formats – LED pillars and rotundas – fully integrating the brand into the cinematic atmosphere.

To complement the visual message, digital posters with contextual messages inspired by the audience’s favorite movie genres were displayed in cinema lobbies:

  • Not all love stories burn. Some… are sweet and unforgettable.” – for the Double Hazelnut flavor,

  • A sensorial thriller filled with suspense and irresistible temptations.” – for the Double Cherry flavor.

Whether craving something sweet and relaxing or, on the contrary, intense and adventurous – moviegoers could enjoy both – on the big screen and at the Cinema City bars, where Magnum awaited them with indulgent treats during the film.

“We’re always excited to give bold and creative brands the opportunity to express themselves in a space as spectacular as the cinema. Magnum was the first partner to choose to communicate through our rotunda – one of the newest digital formats available in our network – and the result was a truly memorable presence,” said Raluca Demetriade, Sales Director at New Age Media.

The partnership between Magnum and New Age Media is the result of a strengthened collaboration over recent years, in a context where cinema has increasingly proven to be a relevant communication space for brands that rely on creativity and visual impact.

“I believe we had all the elements of a well-directed movie: a solid collaboration based on communication and authenticity, the perfect space to shine a light on the brand’s creativity, and impactful messages that met the expectations of cinema lovers. We confidently said ‘yes’ to the proposals from the New Age Media team to create a campaign that always brings something fresh. For us, success doesn’t come from repeating the same script, but from pressing play on new, relevant, and impactful stories,” said Diana Iordache, Brand Manager at Magnum.

In an increasingly competitive environment, New Age Media encourages brands to explore creative communication formats in cinema – a space that offers not only advertising but also memorable experiences that truly stick with consumers.
